Welcome to the world of “I created it, I publish it” where I introduce self-publishing as a part of creating and why creating plays an important role in the “balancing act”.

Teachers have tricks accumulated throughout the years. Let it be humanities, science, mathematics or any other subject; the self-publishing is FREE, teachers can create their own eBooks. This creating act is very rewarding for teachers and very helpful for students. Try it! Why not!

Deepen Your Digital Footprint

In a connectivist world, "...the connections that enable us to learn more are more important than our current state of knowing."

Don't be afraid to promote yourself. The better connected you are, the more capable you are to support others. The corollary is that you are also connected to them and, thus, better able to access information that you and others in your circles need in a timely manner.

We will examine tools and strategies for increasing your web traffic and online presence. If you are not managing your digital footprint it is being managed for you. The best defense is a good offense. Become a better informed node in the expanding networks of your students. Learn, create, and share. All will benefit.

Embracing the concept of social media and integrating it into curricula has proven beneficial and increased student participation in learning.  Together we can unlock the power of local and global networks for teaching and innovative learning experiences for our students.
